February Arc:: Exam Time!

First, a bit of housekeeping:

Judges

The admins of Heart Shrine Village will be scoring the Chunin exams.

Scoring

Each Chunin exam entry will be given a score out of 5 by all of the admins. There will be a test that will involve a collab. For this collab we will be requiring two entries. For this test you will be receiving two scores, one for each entry. Collab partners will all be receiving the same score for this test. We will be scoring each submission on factors such as how much does it capture HSV spirit, was the exam understood and well depicted, etc. At the end of the exams the scores will be tallied and this will determine order of choice for paths. Below is the scoring guide the admins will be using:

CATEGORIES

1.  How well does the entry answer the test task?
   
2.  Is the entry creative?
   
3.  Is the entry a quality piece (meaning did they really put in the effort that someone at their skill level would do?)?
   
4.  Does the answer embody the true spirit of HSV? (subjective)
   

POINTS

0=  Missed the mark entirely
1=  Eh, kind of
2=  Teah but not very well
3=  It's okay
4=  It's good
5=  I absolutely love it!

Path Choice

Just like in the past, path slots will be limited. Graduating chunin will be receiving overall scores on their entries for the exam. The chunin with the highest score will have first choice of path, second highest next, then third, etc. Because of this, please remember to have several choices of path you would like your character to go into! Please remember as well that while you may not get your first choice this time, once you have mastered this first path, you can choose whichever path you like for your second and eventually third!

Match-Ups/Teams

Any match-ups, poll battles, or temporary team formations with other examinees were fully randomized with an online generator. No choice or alterations were made by the admins in the making of these assignments.

As with all of our chunin exams, a sparring match has been organized against one of your comrades. Our first exam for our chunin candidates is a sparring match. You have been randomly paired with another contender. Your job is to write or draw about your characters battling it out in their scheduled spar.

THIS IS NOT A COLLAB ASSIGNMENT!

Your submissions will be put into a poll battle against one another in a tournament style showdown to be done over the rest of the course of the exams.

The winner of the poll battles will receive an automatic increase in rank in their first element!

Everyone is still reeling from the village's most recent attack. How did this happen? What were the flaws in the village's security? Your job is to create a presentation for the heads of the paths and the Mikokage on how to reinforce the village's security and how to prevent any inside jobs from occurring again. The contender with the most appropriate suggestion/solution (judged by the admins) will receive automatic increase in rank in their first path rank.
