Hello my lovely HSV family. We have several announcements for you all.
First announcement is that the next Chunin/Jounin exams will be taking place in FEBRUARY 2016. That’s going to give you all about a month to finish up last minute missions and prompt deviations to meet our minimum exam requirements. A reminder for what those are:
To apply for the Chunin Exams your character must:
Have a minimum of a 15 point stat total Have reached the "talent" level of their first element Be at least 14 years old.To apply for the Jounin Exams your character must:
Have previously participated in and passed the chunin exams Have a minimum of a 23 point stat total Have mastered their first element Have reached novice level in their second element Have reached the "advanced" rank of their path. Be at least 17 years old.Of course it’s possible that working on meeting those requirements is going to require…ANOTHER OFFICIAL STAT BOOSTING. Stat boosting protocols have been reviewed and altered slightly since the fall in the hopes of making boosting slightly less complicated for both yourselves and myself. As always, please don’t hesitate to ask any questions. A reminder of stat caps:
GENIN LEVEL --> 17 point limit
CHUNIN LEVEL --> 23 point limit
SPECIAL JOUNIN LEVEL --> 27 point limit
JOUNIN LEVEL --> 30 point limit
HIGH JOUNIN LEVEL --> 35 point limit
TOP TIER JOUNIN LEVEL --> 40 point limit
KAGE LEVEL --> 40 point limit
Step 1: Compile a list of all of your deviations with prompts that have NOT yet been cashed in from a previous boosting. Please do not worry about including deviations with prompts that have already been used for boosting. Also get your latest stat wheel handy as well as your last stat boosting sheet.
NEW!: I DO NOT WANT TO SEE ANY DEVIATIONS OR POLL BATTLE LINKS THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN CASHED IN, NOR ANY STAT WHEEL OTHER THAN THE LAST GIVEN WHEEL. Please provide ONLY that which needs to be counted for this boosting.Step 2: Follow this link to a st.ash with the new updated stat sheets and download them.
Step 3: Fill out the pertinent information of character name and what your character’s LATEST value for that stat was (this will be found on their most recent stat wheel).
NEW!: Note that this has changed as in the past we asked for their ORIGINAL value. Please place in this box place what their most recent value was now instead.Step 4: For prompts that you have used but have previously cashed in for boosting, please fill in these circles with BLACK. This just lets us know that they’ve been used but will not go towards boosting, but allows us to ensure accuracy of new totals. For prompts that have not been cashed in yet, please fill these circles in with whatever colour you like!
Step 5: Calculate your new stat total for each stat and fill it in on the appropriate sheet. A reminder that 5 prompts used per stat category equal a 0.5 point boost in that particular stat.
NEW! Step 6: For those of you that have used more prompts and technically have enough to boost OVER your rank’s stat cap…guess what? DON’T EVEN WORRY! Cash in all of the prompts and poll battles you like from here on out! We have a new system in place so that there’s no more inconvenience of sacrificing certain prompts per stat or needing to wait and use prompts next boosting.All submitted prompts and poll battles will be counted towards your stat total. If this exceeds your rank limits, you will let us know how many points and from which stat you would like to subtract from your stat total for this round of boostings. Please outline as the following example:
So let’s say you have submitted all of your prompts sheets. Your character is of genin rank. With all of your boostings, your new total is the following:
Ninjutsu – 3
Taijutsu – 3
Genjutsu – 2
Intelligence – 1
Force - 4
Speed – 2
Stamina – 3
Seals - 2
Total: 20
Sadly, this exceeds your character’s rank’s stat cap. You decide that you would like to make the following changes in order to meet their rank requirements:
Ninjutsu – 2
Taijutsu – 3
Genjutsu – 2
Intelligence – 1
Force - 3
Speed – 2
Stamina – 2
Seals - 2
Total: 17
Hurray, you now meet the stat total! You will now receive a bank note along with your new wheel that outlines that once your character has gained a rank, we owe you 1 point in Ninjutsu, 1 in Force, and 1 in Stamina. Wanna know the next best part? You don’t have to wait until the next stat boosting to receive this. As soon as your character has reached their next rank, you can AUTOMATICALLY receive a new stat wheel with the points you had to give up to meet your rank’s limit! More on how to get that done will come out once the next exams are finished.
Step 7: Please gather all 8 of your boosting sheets and compress them into a .zip or .rar file to be uploaded as ONE file submission. If you do not have a program that can do this, please put them in your sta.sh and submit a random picture with a link to the sta.sh group. Then, fill out the description accordingly. We ask that links to your deviations be provided so that we can ensure our quality control rules are being followed. Also include on the description of your submission a link to your LAST stat wheel and your LAST stat boosting sheet. This will also allow us to apply any banked stats that were sacrificed to meet stat caps last boosting.
Step 8: Ensure that your deviation’s description includes a record of sacrificed points as shown above.
Step 9: Post a link to your stats submission here on this blog.
Step 10: Wait for your new stat wheel!
