Kagura looked up to the building in front of her. It was nondescript, no sign of what it was or what it contained, but this was the correct address, deep in a back alley of the commercial district. She stared at her reflection in the glass doors, fixing her headband on her forehead, adjusting her brand new pink vest, proof of her status as a chunin. She took a deep breath and marched through the doors, stepping into her first day at the Weapons Corps.
Or so she thought as she face planted the glass, her eyes catching the stares of those inside. The group erupted into laughter, a man sitting behind a desk mouthing, “Pull,” as tear
She walked home, the rich violet gradients fading into black, lanterns staining the streets with their apricot tones as the night came to life, bringing cheers and laughter with it. Vendors opened their doors, lighting their fires, pans flashing followed by applause for the chefs exhibiting their craft. The heat spread, the air thick with the smell of charcoal and seasoned firewood calling the growing crowd to each locale. She found her mother baking and had a tray of freshly baked cookies in her hands……
When she came home and showed her mother the headband, her mother gasped in horror and dropped the tray. It clattered on

Daiki/Nanase/Collab with prompts!
Daiki tightened the black bandages around his wrists, flexing his fingers in silence.
Nanase twirled her hair nervously. Her eyes were locked on the dog who sat at her feet, wagging his tail.
"Wh-What d-do you want, D-Dragon?" She mumbled.
Dragon nudged her knee, whining. He wanted to come with them, but he wasn't a ninja dog; he wouldn't be much of a help.
Daiki sighed, patting his head. "No, Dragon, you're not coming."
Nanase glanced a Daiki before ripping her gaze away, her face turning a deep red. "S-Sorry, Dragon..." She mumbled. She didn't want to go on this mission - she wanted to do anything but! She was too delicate, too fragile.
